Lost Katrina Chow-Mix KING
HAVE YOU SEEN ME?
A Summary of the Rabion's Story In The Search For King Follows: it would be impossible to capture the mths, wks, mins, hrs and tears that have been expended to date:
King's owners and volunteers continue searching the internet each and everyday to find this guy and bring him where he belongs.
The rescued Katrina dogs were transported
across the US States - Could you please help
spread the word about King?
(the following water damaged photos, recovered from their
home in St Bernard Parish, are all they have of King)
Please Note: The pics are water damaged and do not
show King's actual markings and color - he is identical to
the "Looks Like" Pic

"King came running over to the car to tell me
good-bye, as he always did. I patted him on
the head and said "see you in a couple days,
Kingster"...that's what I thought as I glanced
at King and Bear in my rear view mirror
while pulling away with my Mom, an
alzheimer's patient, confined to a wheelchair.
I decided to take Mom to Florida to ride out Katrina
and visit relatives - as we had done before
during the hurricane warnings, year after year.
King and Bear were always safe with their Dad,
I never had reason to worry. My husband loves
these dogs like a father loves his sons...
this is devastating and I have just got to find
our King".

"Handsome Boy - Mom is still trying to bring you home"
King is a reddish chow-mix about 7 yrs old. King's owners and volunteers across America have been searching, every day-every night since Katrina blasted through New Orleans and changed their lives forever.
King has a white undertone and growls at just about everyone but his Mom. His tongue is purple, and his tail curls. He weighed about 60 lbs at the time of the Hurricane. King's "dad" remained in New Orleans with the family's two dogs. They ended up on top of their house in their boat for a day and a half. King's dad was not permitted to bring the dogs when he was rescued by a firefighter. When Dad refused to leave his dogs, his sons, he was handcuffed and led away, leaving Bear and King in the boat on the roof.
Bear was found in Albany, NY and flown home in Nov '05. He was diagnosed with cancer soon after and is no longer with them. King's owners believe King may be the dog in the "looks like picture" but they have been unable to locate this dog or obtain any information on his whereabouts. They lost everything and all they want is to find their King again. The owner went to the triage to see this dog in Louisiana, however, he had already been transported out of state.
If you have seen this dog or have any information at all, no matter how small it may seem, please contact: debrarabion@yahoo.com
-The truth is finally being disseminated about what happened to the owners and pets and the horror in St Bernard Parish where King and his family lived.
Thank You and God Bless!
You shall not see your kinsman's
ox or sheep driven astray without
showing concern about it.
See to it that it is returned to your kinsman.
If this kinsman does not live near you,
or you do not know who he may be,
take it to your own place and keep it
with you until he claims it;
then give it back to him.
